Inon Z240 focus light burn out

3 posts
  1. Hello

i have a inon Z240 which in using on a ikelite housing for the coolpix p5000 that i really like , but the other day it stoped working , it use the Sync cable to fire the strobe , the strobe will fire via the fibre optic cable , also the focus light has burned out.

i have inspected the sync cable and all seems well , ther is no noticible leaks , corosion or kinks .

i have just sent the strobe back and am waiting to sea what Inon will say.

i was wondering if anyone else has had issues with the Z240.

    Regards

    Matt

  2. Are you saying that it doesn't fire when using the electric sync but it does fire when using the optic fibre? If this is the case, you may have an internally broken sync cable. This seems not to be rare with Ikelite sync cables as far as I know...
