Phil, Timmoranuk wants the UFL165-AD fisheye lens, but in 67mm thread version, so this part is not a solution...

Perhaps it would loose some of Inon's pros, like size, batteries, etc. But anyway, yes, it would be nice anyway

This is the one I'd like with manual powers. I am perfectly happy with the output from my Z240s.

Hello Phil, you misunderstood me or rather I wasn't explict enough in the brevity of my post...

INON make a UWL-165 AD (bayonet mount) fish eye but stangely they do not make a M67 version. All their other glass is made in both AD and M67 mounts.

3" Ikelite short ports (for compacts like the Canon G9) are threaded for M67 and I understand from Ikelite that M67 to AD adaptors don't work as the relationship between the camera's lenses and supplimentary lenses is adversely effected.

So this G9 and Ikelite short port user posted his Christmas wish to Mr INON and that it may be joined by others who also hope to enjoy M67 happiness.

A fisheye for the G9 would be brand new lens, and would have to be pretty large. I would suggest trying the iklelite 9305.92 flat port, Inon UWL-100 Type 1, and Inon Dome Port. This isn't 160 degrees, but it is as wide as you can possibly get with this camera.

I'd much rather see a true ring flash with quick recycle time, lots of power settings, and i-ttl...

Hi Ryan. yes, the UWL-100, dome unit and short port is a good combination for the Ike and G9, but its not quite wide enough... ...especially for the wrecks.

 

This is the one I'd like with manual powers. I am perfectly happy with the output from my Z240s.
