Can't give you any advice regarding suitability with the Ike-port you mention, but the Sigma and the Canon are rectilinear lenses giving you a FoV of approximately 60-100° and the Tokina is a FE wich starts at about 100° and then go to circa 165° on a Canon 1.6 crop. Perhaps you can rule one or two out on that...
cheers

Thanks for pointing out the angle coverage difference. The Tokina also has the shortest minimal focus, which is good behind a dome port. Prices for this lens are very attractive as well.

Hey Christian,
I'm unable to read Swedish and have a question on your picture of the underwater billboard. Are they now putting up advertising signs on the Swedish ocean bottom? Or are these to scare the Russian subs away?...

If it is a 10D, the 10-22mm wont't work, as it is an EF-S mount (this came from the 350D / 20D onwards.

Thanks Gerard.
Looks like my choices are narrowed down to the Tokina 10-17.
Next time I need to look closer at lens specs, other than zoom ranges, before asking
.Thank you guys for your kind and quick reply.

The CFD is important, but in this case all three lenses has a very good CFD. A fisheye has the optical advantage of being more suitable for the curved image created by a dome. It will produce sharper edges and corners, but of course with a fisheye effect...
The billboard was just a temporary 'gag-campaign' on a popular scuba OW-training spot just outside Stocholm. And yes, there are a lot of Russians in the Red Sea, so perhaps the ad worked
When speaking of submarines, there's actually a Swedish one sneaking around in Californian waters. From reports I heard it "sunk" one of your carriers
cheers and good luck

I have a 10D in a S&S housing with their fisheye dome. I use the Tokina 12-24 and have been pretty happy with it. Having said that, I don't think you can go wrong with the 10-17 for underwater use. Since I use the lens topside quite a bit as well, I am sticking with the 12-24 for the time being as it is rectilinear. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 40D/Seatool combo and would probably go with the 10-17 if I took that step.

I have shot the Nikon 10.5mm and the Tokina 10 - 17mm. I like having the zoom available of the Tokina.

Holly Cow!! Glad to know you are our friends
If you are really a friend though, you will sink one in shallow water in San Diego's "Wreck Alley" and provide us locals with more photo oportunities
