lens compatibility for A570

thank you all for your previous postings but i still have a few more questions about the ikelite housing verses the canon housing for the canon A570.

i called ikelite and they told me the camera does not support a macro lens only a wide angle but inon is stating that their UCL-165AD close up lens will work on either housing.

can anybody please tell me which housing if any support a macro lens for the A570.

thank you for your advice and time.

Looking at the Ikelite website, the AD-mount lenses will not work with the Ikelite A570 housing. You would need 67mm threaded lenses. Inon does make stackable 67mm macro lenses.

The Canon Housing can handle the AD mount via Inon bayonet gear. Works pretty well and the 165AD does a decent job.
