SOLD - S&S 350D housing (fits also 400D), TTL Converter and 400D body

As I'm getting ready to purchase a 40D housing early next year, I am selling off my beloved Sea & Sea DX-350D housing (fits both 350D and 400D), Sea & Sea Canon TTL Converter, and a Canon 400D body (Japanese import - "Kiss Digital X" model).

I will also include my button adapters so that you can use this with a 400D (access to all buttons). In fact I had been using this housing primarily with my 400D. The housing was recently serviced right before Christmas by S&S Japan and the flash bulkhead/ wiring had been replaced. The TTL Converter has also been factory checked. Housing was purchased in June 2006. Ports/ focus gears are not included.

I am asking for USD900 for the housing and USD250 for the S&S Canon TTL Converter. The housing has a factory-installed 6 pin flash bulkhead for use with the S&S Canon TTL Converter. Extra O-rings and port cover included. Buyer pays for shipping from Hong Kong (PM me and I'll get an estimate).

In addition, I am selling my 400D/XTi 10mp body (Japanese import: "Kiss Digital X") for USD425. I will include a RiData 2GB 80x Compact Flash Card. English manual included. Battery charger is US/Japan two prong style plug. LCD has been covered with a film protector from day 1 and free of scratches. Original Canon Battery, Strap, & Box also included. No lenses included.

** I would prefer to sell the Housing, TTL Converter, & camera together, but will consider seling them individually if there are no takers for the set.

400D body SOLD

Housing and TTL Converter still available (I'd like to sell these together as I think whoever buys the housing will want the converter). For someone already with a 400D, this would be a cheap way to get it housed, coupled with maybe a port for a 60mm macro lens and a single strobe.

im in the US i dont need the converter i wouldve bought the camera to but i see its sold is there anything special i need to do ti fit the 400d body in it or does it just fit right in

FYI, the original 350D housing comes with 2 standard Nikonos bulkhead for using strobes on manual only. My housing has a factory installed bulkhead where 1 is a 6pin for use only with the TTL Converter. You still have one 5 pin connector. If you plan on using 2 strobes without the TTL Converter, then I think you will need to get the S&S 5 pin Dual Sync Cord.

The 400D fits on the 350D housing tray with no modifications and the lens will sit perfectly centered. All the major buttons work with no modification (shutter trigger, on/off, mode dial, shutter speed/ aperture dial, Ap select button, * button, AF focus pt, and the 5 pt controller/ selector for moving around menus). The shutter drive button and all of the far left buttons (menu, display, play, delete, jump) are slightly off from the original 350D buttons positions due to the larger 400D LCD. I just made modified plastic ends for the housing button controls so that all those buttons can work. No modification to the actual button plungers or housing were made and the it is simple to switch back the original rubber plunger ends.
