  2. Now thats innovative !

  3. As if we underwater photographers don't look geeky enough to begin with.

  4. Been talking about it for years - jokingly stating that within a rather short time frame we'll all lose our jobs as every diver underwater will have an image capture device built into their mask...

    well it's here........ :wacko::wacko:

    even does video!!!

    :P:D:D:angry: :

    of course, the use of such a device is all very hit or miss. This will in no way (for the time being) come any where near replacing any of the gear that the world's greats use..... but how long will it be?

    Questions -

    How can the photographer frame a shot?

    How can he / she review the image etc?

    The next gen would surely need to have some type of HUD unit built into an eyepiece which the diver will turn into an opaque framing device with the press of a button....

    bring on the future!

  5. Merged topics (there were two)

  6. Instead of a camera, I think I would have preferred a frickin' laser beam on my mask...

    [putting my pinkie in my mouth ala Dr. Evil.. :D]

  7. I can't wait to see what one will look like with a pair of Ikelite DS 200 Sunstrobes hanging off of it. :P

    I 'm sure the chiropractors will just love it. :D :D :angry:
