Is there anybody that have tried this ? http://www.uwdigitalcamera.com/goods_detail.php?goodsIdx=114
Does it make any difference ? How do you mount it ?

my housing has the mounting holes for it.
I guess with more efficient reflection of teh camera strobe you use less strobe power on the camera, and therefore less battery.
I've only just seen this, but I don't think it will reduce the (low) power use of the camera's flash unit as that should be determined by the light returning to the camera's sensor. What it ought to do is reduce internal reflection within the housing.
I have been experimenting with a 10.5mm fisheye lens and a 1.5x teleconverter; I found that I needed to make a black disc to block light reaching around the lens and reflecting off the dome port that I was using (the custom 12-24mm dome). I haven't seen the problem with fatter lenses or narrower ports. The mirror's plate may prevent these reflections: but I'd want to see an example before buying one.
