Inon 45 degree housing and Aquatica housings

5 posts
  1. I have sent my housing to ScubaCam in Singapore, and apparently, they do an installation which involves fitting the Inon 45 degree finder onto the Aquatica housing.

My original plan was to send it off to Le Quebecois in Montreal, but the benefit of this installation is that when I decide to sell the housing (probably end of next year), I can retain the finder and the buyer gets a fully functional housing. And they already have my housing anyway, so it saves me the trouble of being without my box for a few additional weeks.

I am curious as to the quality of the finder and whether or not it offers the same 100% view I would get from the Aquafinder or other third-party finders.

Any opinions about how well these 2 work together - or even on the Inon finder itself?

    Thanks,

    Vandit

  2. pm scuba_si. I believe he's got one his Nexus housing (D200?).

That's great if David at Scubacam is doing this. I recall he did mention he does a lot of customization when I had a chat with him at ADEX last year.

I recently saw one on a Nexus D2 housing and was quite impressed. I'd be interested

to see if it works on an Aquatica.

  5. Well, my installation is done and I get it back within the next 10 days or so.

I have some wildlife workshops till the end of the month and then am back underwater in Feb. Will post a review here and let people know how it works.
