2nd Strobe for G7

  1. OK, I'm thinking I need want a new strobe for my G7. I've already got a DS-51 on it, leaning towards a DS-125. Anyone else running 2 strobe on this setup?

I'm wanting it more for WA work, for more even lighting and to cover a broader areas. It's a pitty the housing only came with a single strobe tray, that's something else to get.

It is always advisable to get a second strobe, but no need for a 125, unless you want to upgrade later to SLR...

  3. Yeah, that's pretty much the plan...

  4. I build myself the tray for the second strobe (but have to modify the ikelite original single tray...)

what do you think about ??

  5. I would recommend the 125 myself, more power and spread is always a nice option. You can always tone it down when needed but you can't make the 51 bigger.. :)
