Subal CD1D for Canon 1Ds Mark III?

Does anyone know if it would be possible to use a different backplate for the 1Ds III with the current Subal CD1D housing?

The camera's tripod mount is in a much different spot than on the 1DsII Some work will be required.

None of the buttons on the left-hand side will line up.

I tried out the MkIII camera in my MkII housing - it will need some work to adapt...

No, Subal built a new housing for this, not a new back like they did for Mark II N.

The housings are available from Subal dealers.
