  1. I'm transiting through Nadi later in the year, and thought I might spend a few days to a week maximum diving. I've never been to Fiji before... anyone got a suggestion for me?

  2. Anthony Plummer is there battling cyclone Gene and having a whale of a time by the look of his FaceBook pics...

    Maybe he can help :)

  3. I would suggest Kai Viti Divers out of Rakiraki. http://www.kaivitidivers.com/

It's a well run operation that can take you out to the Bligh waters.

  4. thanks very much Todd, and Dean I'll get try getting some info from Anthony.

  5. big fish dive or shark feed, in beqa lagoon, very good lots of bulls and other sharks, $300 fijian for two dives it is about 2 hours from nadi towards suva.

  6. big fish dive or shark feed

thanks for that... looks like a fun option, plenty of species variety.

  7. We loved Taveuni both for diving and sightseeing.

The SomoSomo strait is great diving. Nothing big there but lots of different species all over.

Staying near Matei point was great for us.

  8. Mana Island is fairly close to Nadi.

I dove with AquaTrek on Mana in 2004. I was passing through so only did 7 dives, but was satisfied with the dives as well as the service. I recommend the dive site GOTHAM CITY which delivers schools of large batfish, many titan triggers, clown tiggers, Napolean wrasse, etc. If you are a fan of anemone fish, dive the site called THE CIRCUS. If you like shark action, you will see black tips at the site called THE SUPERMARKET.

  9. thanks for following up guys. I'll look further into those suggestions.
