being only a beginner in underwater photography i would like to know more about the subject of what are the advantages and disadvantages of both cmos and ccd sensors any info would be great

From a photographic point of view there are good CMOS sensors and good CCD sensors and bad CMOS sensors and bad CCD sensors. Photographically it is not really worth worrying about.
My camera has a CMOS sensor and perhaps the most popular DSLR in use underwater, the Nikon D200, has a CCD.
