Hugyfot housings

  1. Hi,

“Boot Düsseldorf 2008†closed their doors last weekend. The Submerge Productions team visited this boat/dive show and had the opportunity to interview some of the key vendors in the diving world.

We interviewed Andy Voeltz, who was representing Hugyfot. He showed us the two new housings for the Nikon D300 and the Canon 40D with Lifeview.

The video podcasts of these interviews can be found at http://www.submergeproductions.com

A direct link to the podcasts: http://www.submergeproductions.com/Action/Interviews.aspx

    Note:

The podcasts can be watched online or downloaded for offline viewing. They are available in two sizes. For high bandwidth users we recommend the 1000 Kbps versions (512 x 384). A lower resolution version is available as well (384 x 288 @ 500 Kbps).

These are big files. If the video does not play smoothly in your browser, we recommend to download the files instead. To view downloaded flash video files, a special viewer is required on your computer. A free FLV Player created by Martijn de Visser can be downloaded here (http://www.martijndevisser.com/blog/flv-player/).

    Enjoy,

    Peter

  2. Very nice product (although I'm probably biased as Hugyfot is now made in Belgium - by GreenForce), but poor presentation: too much focus on Mr Andy "I like to look straight into the lens and have a silly smile on my face" Voeltz instead of taking more close-ups of the housing.

The interview with Tom Leys of GreenForce was much more informative. :)

Andy might have been slightly nervous. And presenting in English did not make it easier for him. But Tom did an excellent job.
