  1. Hi everyone. Here is my issue

I have a Nikon D100, an Ikelite housing and an Inon D-2000 strobe. When I connect all of them together this is what I get:

    - the camera would not take the picture

    - my flash indicator in the camera would turn red indicating that my strobe does not support D-TTL flash control

    - I would get an error messahe "r06" in the control panel of th camera.

Can someone explain me what's going on here?

    Thanks in advance

Simple the d100 does not support conventional TTL or D-TTL strobes - it only supports Nikon's own i-TTL.

The solution is to remove all the wires except the two triggering ones and use it in manual mode.

  3. Hammerhead thanks a lot. Do you have an idea which ones are he triggering ones by chance?
