Minor scratch on flat port

I incurred a minor scratch on my flat port after losing a cover I thought was in place. You can see the scratch when you tilt the port at an angle but not straight on. I'm not certain how it will affect photos, if at all. Its a glass port.

1. Is there a self-repair procedure for this?

2. Whats a good way to test to see if it will affect photos?

that water and glass have a very similar refractive index so if it is a small scratch you will hardly

notice anythingdifferent in your pictures
