i thought i would post some pics taken today and a week ago to demonstrate how much our conditions can change in a week .
first shots taken today , we had about 150mm! of rain in 2days and lots of tanin laden water runoff..
we had a 2-3m layer of tanin water at the surface which blocks out so much light
pics taken at Jervis Bay , the outer tubes in 18m water , 18c . coolpix P5000 in Ike housing , inon strobes and inon uwl100 and dome attachment. 1/60th sec f3.8.
comments welcome

And these are from last week.
and we waited soooo long for nice blue water
and two weeks ago ... to show it wasn't a fluke
but seriously, it makes it really hard to shoot & learn because it is a complete lucky dip
mine are taken with a d200 & 10.5mm Nikkor, btw
cheers
Leander
well Matty, looks like we left 'em speechless
Guys,
A very nice comparison, but give me blue water any day of the week, especially with those lovely sponge gardens in JB.
Nigel
cheer Nigel, I am kinda fond of the blue myself, but conditions down here have been oh so fickle! No stable summer conditions - when we usually get warm blue calm seas
