i need advise on hd cam

Hi ! I am just tired of reading over and over about u/d cam and i am still confuse

about my choice of a HD cam with ikelite housing ...why Ikelite = cheap .

i have just invested 5000$ for a SLR for U/D and my girlfriend would love to take video u/w

and my budget is limited to 2500$ for the cam and housing ..light will come later this summer.

guys what are my choices ? is there a cam that is hot for u/w and fits my budget ?

You will need about $5000 to get into something with abit more quality.

You can get a Canon HV20 and an Ikelite housing for about $2000 - that would leave you money for airfare to a nice dive site.

Or the HV20 in an Equinox housing for $1579...

Or a Sony HDR-HC5 in the new Stingray HD. $2589 + shipping. Nice thing about it is that a 3.5" monitor is included.
