I have an Olympus C5050 with the Light and Motion Tetra housing. A couple of years ago I received an Inon Z220 strobe as a gift (and promptly sat the camera on the shelf for a while). I'm starting to take pictures again, and I would like to use the strobe with this housing- but I seem to be having some difficulty with the settings. Anyone have any advice?
Thanks!
Hi Mr. Strong, and welcome to Wetpixel.
I have those strobes too and really love them. I think to use them with the 5050 you may have to set the camera to "slave" strobe mode. That cancels the preflash and makes the strobes act as manual slaves.
The Tetra housing does have some king of optical TTL converter inside though, which sends a signal through a cord to the strobe.
What settings are you using for the converter (housing) and strobe?
Cheers
James

Thanks, James. I am using the 5 pin nikonos style connectors (I think). I'll go home and try again tonight!
