Can somebody please help me identify this guy? I found this fish in a local jetty in Newport Oregon. At first we thought he was a wolf eel, but upon furthar inspection he is much different. Notice the different jaw line and the white "horn" on the bridge between his eyes. This is a bad photo for fish i.d. For perspective, the fish is looking straight out of his den to the right of you and his head is about the size of a fist. Also, he has flat, "molar-like" teeth. It goes to show, you can still find stuff in viz so poor that you can't see the tips of your fins.
