  1. I'm looking at the INON fisheye lens but from what I've read it doesnt work optimaly with some cameras.

Has anyone tried it with a Nikon P5000?

I've also got an Ike housing with a 67mm threaded port so I would need and AD mount adapter. I've heard rumors of one that mounts to an Ike housing via the groove in Ike ports but I've never found one.

Any idea if this would work?

    Cheers

    -Mike

  2. Hi Mike

i use the p5000 in a ike housing with inon uwl 100 and dome attachment , i attach the lense via the 67mm thread on the port.

this lense works well and is a lot of fun . in some cases there a slight fringing on one corner , which is not visible in all photos taken , this can be croped out by a less than 10% crop if required.

i use the lense for the usual wide angle shots also i use it with wide angle close up shots.

to see the variety of shots taken with this setup just click on my flickr photo link below. at the very bottom of this post

i also use the inon ucl 67mm macro lense stacked up to 3 for supermacro . when i first purchaced this setup i thought i would be going underwater and changing lenses underwater when i saw macro or wideangle subjects. what i found easier is to go for a dive with the lense of choice attached and either look for wideangle subjects or macro subjects , attaching the lense (which is a decent size ) to the front port can be tricky and now i only do it above water less chance of a crossthread.

another option with lense attachment is lense adaptor

which i have not used so it would just be a case of buy and see if it works ?????

    Matt
