FS: Nikon D2X and Subal housing

  1. This is a heads up before I post this on ebay.

Camera: Nikon D2X with firmware upgrade. Only 5800 actuations on the

shutter (rated at 100,000). In mint condition and works perfectly.

All original accessories, manual and box.

Housing: Subal ND2 housing for D2X, in excellent condition. Includes

Heinrichs internal TTL converter (with spare batteries), which works

flawlessly, and also allows full manual control. The housing is also

fitted with the super GS 180 viewfinder, a $1490 value if purchased

    separately.

Please check Heinrichs website for iTTL compatibility with specific strobes.

    Current street prices new:

    Housing with GS viewfinder: $7350

    D2X(s) camera: $4300

    TTL adapter, installed: $300

    Total value new today: $11950

This complete package for sale: $4500

No ports, sync cords, strobes or lenses are included. I will consider

selling the camera and housing separately, but will not sell the

camera before the housing is sold.

This is a beautiful housing and camera combination, which has served

me very well. It is my secondary underwater system, which is why the

number of shutter actuations is low. However, I've gotten some of my

favorite photos from this system. Some examples are:

    thanks,

  2. Folks, the housing is now spoken for, but the camera is still available.

$1500 for the camera, and includes a spare battery not noted above.
