I FINALLY got my website/gallery up and running... Although I have yet to get all my images into the gallery, I have included a large selection from my Angel fish collection for your viewing pleasure. Have a look and let me know what you all think. Any suggestions, ideas, critiques, etc are highly appreciated.
Guess now I have a real reason to go out diving. Gotta keep the website fresh with content..you know!
About D*** time Laz! :-)
I'll take a look and get you some feedback. Can't wait to check it out.
Cheers
James
Cracking job Laz - As I would expect from you (I hate your ass!!!)-(Hope I spelt that right!)
Very effective and very quick to load even on wind-up connection, and of course filled with wicked pix.
I really like the thumbs being uniform in height. I feel it's much more attractive yet few do it that way. It would be nice for the mouse to travel less when switching from the menu to the thumbs, particularly on larger screens. The scrollbar on the bottom has surpising behavior. You expect it to scroll the entire page since there is no clear frame border.
Also, from the home page I get "adventures of" appearing in the title bar frame. If I select gallery, then adventures, it's OK. If I then click the title bar for the home page something bad happens, so some of the frame stuff needs sorting. I do like the presentation of the site.

Hehehehe! I can feel the love!
It's been a while since I haven't gotten an "I hate you" message from you. I was starting to think I was beginning to slack (well yeah, I was...). Not to worry though, I'll make sure I keep the sight up to date with new stuff so that your hate for me will never cease to exist.

Thanks for catching the bug, Craig. That's the one thing I hate about frames---miss one target="_top" tag and everything gets screwy. Good catch!
As you're very much aware from creating your own website, designing for the different resolutions (or even cross browsers.. AH!!!) is a major pain in the rear. I designed the site so that 800x600 users would be able to see the site as well and unfortunately those on bigger resolutions (such as you and I) suffer from 'many miles on the mouse' syndrome. Not to worry, I will keep this thought rumbling through my mind and try to come up with some solution. If not, I'm sure the Ocean Gallery menu is sure to increase quite a bit in due time. Plus I plan to setup major categories (ie. fish) with drop downs otherwise the menu will really get out of hand.
Thanks for your input and help with the site. I truly appreciate it.
The left menus have one entry that slides right but none of the others do. I figured you would be fleshing the menus out so I didn't mention it. I'm glad you've kept the site simple to navigate and avoided popup screens. I hate those. I also applaud your choice of a neutral black background. It allows the artwork itself to be seen without competition. Your site is very promising. Let me know anytime you need someone to bang on it.
I've just added the Butterfly fishes gallery... not all my pics but a start.
Laz,
You probably would have taken first place in the HUPS "Angels and Butterflies" category...:-)
Cheers

Hi Laz, great Site!
But have a look at it with a Mozilla Browser. The size of the Frames (gallery, menue, etc) are completly wrong. Looks good with IE.
Bye Simon

what version of Mozilla are you using? - I'm looking at it with ver. 1.31 and it sure looks sweet to me still
Ahh you may be right I have still 1.0 on my machine at work. i'll have a look with 1.4alpha at home later.

The video on dolphins is excellent.
Wonderful photos and stories, Laz! I'm honored to be featured in "Born Free."
