Soupy lagoon water drove me to the walls of Palau, still an unusual destination for the average British diver. My wreck passion was put into abeyance, and I'd left my 60mm micro at home, so I was playing with a 105mm VR micro and a 10.5mm +/- teleconverter:
Plus my usual 10.5mm and telephoto stuff:

Nice. Where did you see the Whale shark, BC?

Really nice images!
Do you recall which Palau dive site you saw the Whale Shark?

Amazingly enough, it swam past Blue Corner to the accompaniment of more tank-banging, shakers and underwater noise than I've ever heard in my life.
The sharks at Blue Corner, and between Blue Holes and the corner, had been skittish all day: I saw 11 whitetips scooting over the reef in the morning, something I thought only happened at night:

I can imagine. Nice pictures, Tim.

I can imagine, same type of racket the day a big tiger showed up when I was there last year!
Sweet shots. Nice over/under on the jelly.
You never know exactly what you may see at BC, but a whale shark? Wow! Nice timing
