More Pics from Egypt

10 posts
  1. Here more pictures - on Bobs request --this time 6 pics at once. Now from my last trip to Egypt this march. Vis was rather bad. This was my first trip with an external strobe. Its' just great. Also I shot in raw for the first time UW.

    I used a Canon S40 in a Canon WP-DC300 Housing. With a Ikelite DS125 with TTL Sensor.

    First a nice Triton:

Has anyone a tip how to reduce the cyan on the sand and the red in the shadows?

  4. A big moray:

  7. Remarkable improvement in skill and patience Simon.

    What Software are you using.

  8. Hi Bob, thank you. Im Using PS7.01 inc. Raw Converter Plugin.

  9. Go into "Image - Adjust - Selective Colour" Then you can work on removing the the cyan from the sand.

  10. Very Nice Pics!

I just love the puffers, I think they are quite cute.

    Where in egypt where you?

I was down in the Brothers and Elphinstone in april and at some dives we had pretty poor vis for egypt.

For pictures, please see earlier posts or album.

Missed out the probably best dive on the trip though, that was on Elphinstone, it was pretty windy, stormy I'd say, high waves and such. So me and my 2 friends decided we'd skip the dive, it didn't feel right. Anyways, when the others returned, they had smiles going all over their faces. They'd seen dolphins and hammerheads. Lucky them :P

Well, just another reason for me to go back there soon :D
