Big waves in Santa Barbara

This winter has been really strange. We have had big waves interspersed with periods of flat calm. Here are a few photos I took in Santa Barbara (originally posted in "The Galley"

Here is one from from Morro Bay last weekend. I had a real hard time capturing the energy in the waves, but the spay was very impressive, spouting 50ft into the air.

Actually, that was last year. This winter has been relatively mild.
