St. John's Reef - Red Sea

  1. I just returned from a week on board of Safy Mar. We went south to visit St. John's reefs.

I had great time despite of minor camera flood.

I still need to go through all I shot, but here are some of my picks so far.

I worked hard on this one:

Experiments with Lee 21 Orange filter:

There was a large school of dolphins that stayed with us for quite a while.

I was in such a rush to get into water that I forgot to take my fins.

I hope you like them. There's more at my site.

  3. The orange filter has worked really well on the yacht. I tried to make a monochrome image from a similar position out of a Magic Filter shot, but it didn't work as well as yours:

  5. Thanks.

I'm glad you posted the one with Magic Filter. I liked what I got with orange, but I was wondering if I colud do the same/similar without filter.

One thing that filter does is it forces me to concentrate on different elements when I shoot.

  6. Nice collection of images
