Olympus SP-570 in Housing Issues

Just spoke to an Olympus engineer and he stated that the SP-570 will definitely NOT fit the 550/560 housing the case shape is different and buttons are in different positions. There is also no plans at this time to build a case and he suggested I spoke to Ikelite.

Thought you might like to know.

I just had the same experience calling them. Ikelite's website says the housing is under construction. Any way we can petition (read: plead with) Olympus to put a housing together for the 570 UZ?
