Replacing Port of Ikelite 6147.09

Dear all,

Does anybody have experience of replacing the standard port of Ikelite 6147.09 with flat port, all by yourself?

Is it difficult and risky of leaking??

What is the proper procedure??

I presume you're talking about the G7/9 housing.

It's easy to do yourself. You should have a tool which you slide thru two holes in the port, then twist anti-clockwise until the port starts to un-screw. Then attach your flat port, making sure the o-ring is in place. I think you're supposed to screw it in as far as you can then turn another 3/4 turn with the tool.. it says something with the doc that came with the short port.
