  1. I have a perfectlly good ys60 strobe ,from my sea and sea motermarine 35mm set up.And want to use it with a didgital housing.Has anyone bought or manufactured a slave trigger for this strobe.

  2. Yes, check out Mattias Heinrich's page - he makes a slave trigger that screws onto the end of the sync cord.

    Cheers

  3. I use a S&S YS-60 and the Heinrichs-Weikamp Digital Adapter 2 (LINK) as a slave flash to my Coolpix P4. Works fine. I'm still getting used to the settings and shooting with a strobe, but the system works.

Thanks for the report, i checked out the Digital Adapter the rand is kind of week against the euro ot the moment and with shipping to Cape Town,so i'll have to wait.

  5. Eventually, you may find one on sale on ebay or on the classified forums like the one here on Wetpixel.

If you prefer buying in (at least right now they are) weak dollars, Reef photo sells them as well LINK.

Make sure to get the right one for your strobe. It depends on whether the strobe has a 5-pin nikonos plug or a 6-pin Sea&Sea plug (since you used it with an older S&S camera, I assume it has the 6-pin).

Also, try shooting Matthias Heinrichs an email. He sold me mine for 89€ with the shipping to Chile included.
