Nexus new housings at PIE in Tokyo

PIE was held in Tokyo from 19-22 Mar.â… visited the Anthis booth.Furusawa, president of Anthis showed me Nexus new housings. On display were housings for the Canon 1DsMkâ…¢, 40D, Nikon D3, D300, D60 and Olympus E-3.

INON Straight Viewfinder on Nexus D300

Anthis will adopt INON Straight Viewfinder for Nexus housing. Yet Anthis is developing Straight Viewfinder in house. It will be shorter than INON Straight Viewfinder.

Thanks for the nice pics. Did you see any evidence of a new wide angle zoom Port for a Canon 16-35mm F2.8 USM II ? there ware news from the last DEMA the Nexus is working on a new Port.

Do you know anything about the flash housing being shown with the Nexus D3 prototype housing?

It appears to be as is/unfinished. By the look of things, it seems to be for the new SB600 ?

I'm wondering if they are going to produce one for the SB800?

I would sure LOVE to see a fiber slave connection on that SB400 housing. :-)

The differences between NexusD300 and NexusD200 are as follows.

・Control panel window is widened.

・Top area of housing is widened.

・Accssory shoe is eliminated.

・Lanyard hook is set.

Anyone know if the Inon viewfinders will work with a D3 or other full frame camera? The Inon website says they are designed for cropped sensors.
