Problem with the c5050

2 posts
  1. Good day every one

I had a c3040 for about years and the pics out of it were very good, and few months ago i sold that one and bought the c5050 and not very happy with the outcome. :P

The pics from the 5050 dosent show the right coulors and they seem to bright,

I have been taking pics in cristal clear water wich is very deep blue , the old camere captured this deep blue color very well but I dont get that with the 5050.

I have been taking mostly in P mode on both cameras,

Does any one know why this is ??

    Thank you

    Stefan

  2. Hi Stefan,

Of course using the manual settings could solve this as well. Here's a possible solution for you if you like shooting in 'P' mode.

Go into the menu and turn the histogram on. By pressing the exposure compensation button, (leftside front) you will overlay the histogram and be able to adjust the exposure and see it on the histogram by moving the jog wheel. You can actually see the image in the LCD brighten and darken.

    Hope this helps.
