I made a mistake : I charged my DS 125 strobe yesterday, and I forgot to switch the charger selector on 220V... it remained on 110V (after a trip in Cuba)
Of course, it did not charge... but worse, I think the charger is out of order, since it still did not work after I switched it on 220V. Is there really any risk to damage the charger by forgetting to switch the selector?
Hi Ben;
Last month I was in Dominican Republic. In the hotel tell me that the rooms were in 220 but this wasn´t true i try to charge tha strobe all the night and I dive two timews without batery in it!
The day after in the main room the charger works OK, so I think that your charger will work ok.
My charger dont have selector (I think that is for Europe only, but it doesnñt be a problem, no?)

Running 110 volt device on 220 volts is certain destruction. We suggest use of our Smart Charger expecially when traveling because it auto ranges, sets itself for proper input voltage, and provides a more healthy charge for the batteries............
Ok, sorry to get off topic here, but I need to know:
I'm going to the Dominican Republic in July. Are they on 110, or 220 volts???
110 in the most hotels in someone 220 you must ask for it!
