Reef Cusk eel ?

Hi folks, I shot this chap in Thailand 2007 around the similan islands.

I'm very new to underwater photography & I don't have many id books, & can't seem to find a likeness in any library. The closest thing that I have been shown is a reef cusk eel ? but I'm not convinced !

Thanks in advance

Steve
