  2. Hi Yoko,

From the look of that housing in your pic, it looks like they tested it

in the washing machine for leaks...

Seems to have had a hard life...

  5. Hi Yoko,

Is that a fibre optic port on the SB800 flash unit?

I see that the housing is hard wired for a sync cord as well...

Does this mean that a second SB800 could be slave fired in i-TTL..???

Have you tried using dual canon 'land' flashes with your canon 5D..???

    This could be interesting... :D

    Bruce...

  6. Hi Bruce,

SB800 flash unit connects to housing for Nikon Camera with a sync cord in i-TTL.

My Canon580EX Flash Unit connects to DX-5D housing with a sync cord(custom-made by Sea&Sea) in E-TTL and second strobe, INON D2000 connects Canon580EX with a fibre optic cable.

Yea, thankfully the signal strength will be awful, and button access will be at best, frustrating - though from a spectator point of view fun to watch.

Just a matter of time though!

  13. Hi Yoko,

how did you here about the OPD-WZ14-24? Is that a image you took at the show?

I heard from Athena that they would be shipping that port by the end of may...?

I would be very glad if you could help me translate or give me any additional information on the image I have posted below?

    Hi Alex,

I don't have a image that port at the show because they didn't display it.

On Apr 5th, Mr.Hiramatsu told me that they would be shipping that port within 2 months.

You can do the focus operation and the zoom operation.

We improve the image quality with making the lens part have the performance

of OPDï¼200 and making the field angle of Nikon 14-24mm F2.8G lens specialize.

Mr.Chijimatsu, president of Tail has test Canon 450D / Rebel XSi with Nautilus housing NEO X2 (In Japan, Canon 450D / Rebel XSi is called Canon EOS Kiss X2).

Autofocus system of Canon 450D / Rebel XSi is accurate even with the Canon EF100mm F2.8 Macro USM.

Finder of Canon 450D / Rebel XSi on underwater housing is difficult to use for accurate composition and focus verification.

But the Inon 45 viewfinder offers a bright crisp image with the largest angle of acceptance.
