Hey guys, i have been in indo for the past two weeks shooting away. I was here just a short time ago and thought i had covered some ground...NOT!
I recieved my Sea and Sea housing just a week before departing, enough to dive with it once or twice just to get a feel for it.
The new Fstop adjustment and off set shutter speed command dial are purrr-fect. My eye never has to leave the viewfinder.
I have been averaging 4 dives a day for the last 10 days and this sytem ROCKS...
From Close focus Wide angle to Macro and Super Macro.
Im able to do most anything from F22 to F18...Experimented with some tight shrimp photos using a nice bokeh technique opened to 5.6 and then squeezed it back to 32....Nice lighting all the way through, the ISO is easy to adjust and the metering is incredible.
The 60 mm is a great all around lense.
I built a 10+ diopter before the trip and have used it with my 105, Until i lost the diopter...DOH!!~..
Anyhow came in very handy shooting a juvi cockatoo waspfish (not a bona fide waspfish) with tack sharp results.
Still a week left, will probably continue CFWA, i have had some wonderful luck with the critters.
Dual Rhino's, Yawning frogfish, yawning Rhinos, Nuds galore plus more....
I have been documenting everything day to day...
If your interested check it out at my blog
Attached is a photo of an imperial shrimp catching a ride on the Cerata of a solar powered nud...
shot at 250 asa, F22, ISO 200.
No adjustments have been made to any of the pics, no color pump, no backscatter removal no nada...
Straight NEF- file conversions...
Photoshop will come later..
Cheers and enjoy!
