  1. Hi,

Is anybody using Nexus 5d housing with e-ttl function ?

Nexus provide 5 pin sync connector + fiber optic connector and

I could not find the way to use e-ttl.

Hmmm, do you mean there are two separate bulkheads, one with a 5-pin connection and one with a fiber connection? Trying to picture what you have.

  3. There are no fiber connectors on the Nexus 5d housing. The 5d doesn't have a pop up flash...

We can retrofit subtronic s6 connectors into this housing, allowing the external heinrichs converter to be used.

We have installed the HW Mk1 converters in a Nexus 5d housing before, but it was very tight.

If it were mine, I'd install the external converter which can be easily bypassed in case of a failure.

  4. Ryan,

That looks very nice and a lot less expensive and bulky than my Sea and Sea eTTL converter ;-) (insert old-fart grumbling sound here)

Does the Heinrich's also enable rear curtain sync when used in manual and TTL mode?

    Cheers

    James
