Are the winners after 3rd place positioned in the order of how many votes they got, or is it still in order of when they were posted, like the open contests? TIA

So last week a lot of great shots received less votes than a picture of a stuffed animal toy and a burman cat!
Why ar'n't the total votes received published?

So last week a lot of great shots received less votes than a picture of a stuffed animal toy and a burman cat!
Ahh well, last night there was tri-club camera club competition (3 judges) and a photo of a bunting, sitting still on a pole, dead center, won 1st place over an action shot of an osprey bringing a fish to her chicks. She was captured in mid-air, the shot was tack sharp. In fact, a photo of a flower beat the osprey. Go figure. Now, the osprey shot wasn't mine so I wasn't emotionally vested, but it just solidified my and my friend's belief that judging is a mystery.
