Had so much fun over the Xmas holidays, I had to do it again. I was on the Viking, http://viking-liveaboards.com , for another 10 days 4/23 - 5/3. It's taken me a couple of weeks to recover from a disk crash when I try to copy my photos from my laptop to my desktop, and figure out how to deal with raw files.
The diving was incredible, even better than Xmas. It took a few dives to get use to the new camera, 5050; new lens, Inon with the domeport; and new tray, Aquatica nikons rs flip tray, but I did manage to get in a few shots that I like. The trip album is at
Well done Herb - Your 'Clamedia' seems to be healing nicely!!!
Cracking Manta shot.
I am in Bali at the moment and anticipate or at least hope for some similar sights - beginning tomorrow on the Komodo Dancer.
Herb, those are stunning to say the least. The colors and the composition have that magazine cover look about them.
Herb,
Your Manta photo is excellent! Good lighting on the underbelly!
Man, Sign me up for your job if/when you decide to retire...

Herb,
Yours shots are awesome, I love the Manta shot but my favourite is the octopus with the sun and the diver in the background - that's a special shot.
Nice work.
Great shots Herb! I was looking forward to see them. The stalking octopus is my (and Eriko's) favorite. See you next year unless we meet in SF this autumn.

Greater shots!
The Manta is great, good lightning and composition in the frame.
I like also the octopus with the diver in the background.

Very very nice pictures, with very good composition!
