Its nudie season in California

17 posts
  1. I had some great dives over the last couple of weeks at Catalina island, southern california. Its nudibranch season there, and over 25 species have been seen recently, a record for catalina, which is less known for its macro life. Only 6 or 7 weeks until the fish start arriving!

    enjoy the photos, Scott

Steve, your a gentleman and a scholar. I had the (old) 60mm lens on all day. Come back to LA soon, Tuscon is not that far.

  16. Some of those are common in the northern islands but after diving Catalina for almost 30 years (aug is 30 for me:) and I am old now) I havent seen two of those three species. I have pics of all of them but they were from the northern islands. Nice finds. What is that orange fish thingie? lol
