  1. I am looking for clear water for nice pics. Key Largo was nice, but i am looking for something new.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Look into Morehead City, North Carolina- pretty good wreck diving and warm clear waters more often than not in the summer. Ive been a time or two and although it isnt the Caribbean, its about as good as it gets within driving distance from Maryland.

  3. You CAN have it all: American, East Coast (well, we are the easternmost point of the US although not connected to the "mainland"), clear tropical waters, Caribbean - yet no passport needed. Come to St. Croix, U S Virgin Islands!

  4. I was thinking of the east coast of Guam but I like Marjo's answer better.

  5. Why not the Dry Tortugas, off Florida? Supposed to be much nicer than the Keys.

One of the two liveaboards that does the Flower Gardens Charters (not a bad pick itself, but not 'east coast' as its more due south of the Texas-Louisiana state line into the Gulf of Mexico) moves over there for the summer. Check http://www.spreeexpeditions.com (Spree is the name of the ship).
