12 -24 Tokina in Sea & Sea housing, will the nikon zoom gear fit?

Hi all

My question is regarding the 12 -24 Tokina lens to be used in a DX80 Sea & Sea housing? Does anyone know if the 12 - 12 zoom gear for the Nikon will fit?

Don't know about thje NIKON 12/24 zoomgear fitting on the TOKINA 12/24 lens, but I doubt it. But check out my posting and you could save yourself a packet.

I also have a TOKINA 12/24 lens, which I have fitted with one of these gears, I just haven't got around to adding any pictures of it to my posting.

I use the Nikon 18-70 Zoom ring on my Tokina 12-24, works like a dream for me, just the addition of a small amount of felt and removal of the oring on the gear

using this behind a compact dome and 40mm extension.

The Tokina 12-24 has the same barell diameter as the New Nikon 14-24mm and 60mm AFS, I dunno if that help.
