Camera Setup is 2 years old and has been on 5 one week dive drips (Kona, Fiji, Kona, Bonaire, Utila)

I am about to do Lembeh so I have decided to make the plunge to DSLR and the full macro setup. I have taken some great pictures with the setup I am selling and I will send along samples to anyone interested.

I started with the Canon S-40 and loved it for 4 years of diving and still carry it as a backup. When the S-80 came out, I jumped on it and love it just as much. I would sell both cameras, but he 4.0 megapixel is way outdated and i will keep it as an emergency backup.

The Canon S-80 has an underwater mode to bring out the reds and yellows, but I usually shoot on automatic and let the strobe bring back the color that the depth takes away. It is a really easy camera to use and is very compact

I have all the receipts and this setup was about US $1100 on BH Photovideo, so it was probably 1500 retail. I would like to get 500 out of it.

  4. Great setup for a great price. I was sent the wrong camera housing, but the seller quickly fixed this and covered shipping to send the old one back. Very very good experience, and good guy!
