  1. Hello, what are the corrects extension rings and zoom gears for the Tokina 10-17 mm and Sigma 17-70 mm in a SEA&SEA MDX-D300 underwater housing with a NIKON D300 and the NX Fisheye Dome port? Thanks for yours comments

  2. from what I heard, I think the 10-17 gives good photos either with or without the 20mm extension ring...the correct extension is probably around 10mm

you can look at my oil rig photos I posted today, I had on the 20mm extension ring for those.

my friend uses the 17-70mm with the 40mm extension ring and seems to be happy with the results.

I hope others chime in with their experiences also.

    hope this helps,

    Scott

My dive buddy last week was shooting a D300 with the Tokina 10-17mm in the Sea&Sea MDX-D300 housing with the 8" dome and did not need to use any port extension at all.

    Hi,

I use it with the NX-Dome without the extension ring. I got the Zoom ring from BH-Photo: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/4736..._for_Canon.html
