UR Pro Filters

  1. Is a UR Pro Red the same thing as UR Pro CY?

  2. Jeremy, I think you'll find they are one and the same. The UR Pro www site does not specify a 'red filter', only the CY and SWCY.

I love the CY (and the GR) on the UWL-100...

  3. Cool - thank you! I have one on order - and I asked for a "CY" and the invoice came yesterday and it said "UR Pro Red" ... I got a little bit worried the wrong one was coming ...

Do you put it on the short port first and then screw the UWL-100 on top of that?

This is the filter you need. Notice that I have removed the rubber bumper from the UWL-100 to allow the filter to fit. If you use a 67mm threaded UR Pro, you'll risk tearing the threads off the port due to the leverage / weight of the UWL-100. You may also experience vignetting. The push fit filter is quick and easy to fit / remove if you are switching between natural light and strobes and you wont risk dropping your lens!

  5. You've got all the toys! I'm never buying anything again without talking to you first.

    Thanks for blazing the trail.
