Inon Optic Cable instructions

  1. Hi

Does anyone have English instructions for the Inon Optical D Cable/Cap W31 Set (Inon D2000s strobe to Canon WP-DC15 / Inon AD housing)

Although the set up is not too difficult, I wanted to read the instructions, but mine are in Japanese!

    Cheers

    Hal

  2. Hi Hal,

I am assuming that you are a very naughty, naughty boy, and bought your strobe gear 'grey market',

like the other 90% of readers on this forum...^_^

Anyway, have a look at Mark Rupert's site and I'm sure that you will find enough English' Pdf's there

to keep you happy for a long time...

I know that Mark has helped me out in the past with information that my 'local' authorised dealer has no idea as to what is currently produced by Inon...

    Good bloke, and great service...

    Bruce...

  3. I'm not a shooter, though I work with a whole variety of pro and amateur shooters. It does seem that the 60mm is the most widely used macro lens out there. If you have a limited budget I'd say go for the 60mm and work with what you have.

I'd say that it's best to get to know one lens really well, rather than tryign to work with lots of lenses and also having the frustration with choosing from a whole range of different lenses. There are not many places you'll go where the dive guide is going to tell what lens to use, so keep it simple to start with!

  4. oops sorry, how did that happen? I put my response in the wrong place!

Actually, no. I bought from Backscatter - Official Inon stockists and Wetpixel sponsor - You can't get much more legit than that!

What is the address of this site? I've looked on the Inon America site, and the only optical cable .pdf download that they offer is Inon Optical D Cable/Cap W5 Set - which is an Olympus connection, not Canon.

Mark Rupert is the Inon America guy and as you know there isn't a PDF for what you need there, but Mark can get you one.

    Inonamerica.com

  7. Although I don't have the canon it looks to be the same connection as my fuji. If you cant find what you want I will be happy to scan them in for you so you can take a look.

  8. You are all right, Mark Rupert is the man ^_^

Inon Japan seem to have sent out the wrong instructions. Inon America do not have a hard copy, or a .pdf to send on, so... Mark is getting Inon Japan to send me a hard copy direct

Thanks to the Wetpixellers for the contact name, and thanks to Mark for being super efficient.

    Cheers
