When is the best time to dive PNG

  1. I was wondering if late January/early February would be a good time to dive PNG? I'm based in Hong Kong and we get a week off for Chinese New Year. I want to plan a dive trip in late Jan/early Feb 2009 and I wonder what the conditions are like in PNG?

     

    I've only been to Kavieng, PNG (Paradise Sport, Mike Ball, May 2002).
