D300 flash issue

  1. Have noticed a software glitch in my D300, not sure if this is just mine or all of them.

I am unable to change the shutter speed when set in manual mode, it stays on the flash sync speed setting. This occurs with the builtin nikon flash, sb800 on the surface or in the housing connected to my sea and sea and dual inons. I can adust shutter speed with the menu by changing the sync speed.

Anyone else have this? or do I have a defective camera?

  2. I would post that question in a D300 forum, perhaps on flickr

  3. I would try posting this on Nikonians.org...here is the D200-D300 Forum
