best camera + housing for $10,000 ?

I'm just posting this for a friend, he wants to get into hi-def video. he'll be diving less than 100ft deep.

his budget's around $10,000-$11,000 at the most, and he's looking into the sony pmw-ex1 + equinox housing, would that be a good choice, or should he be looking at something else?

Can you tell us what he would like to accomplish with the system?

What's his main purpose for buying the system?

Do you know if he plans on using lights, whether it be now or a planned upgrade for later?

These are all things that need to be taken into consideration, but the answers may help everyone else give you a more detailed assessment of what might work best for him.

The $11,000.00 budget with the housing and camera is going to be pushing it a little. The camera is $6500.00, without any extra SXS cards etc, so that's only going to leave around $5000 for the housing and its accessories.
