FS Nexus D70 Housing

Just upgraded from D70 to D300, so D70 housing will be available. just as soon as I can dive the new rig. Basic housing only (includes handles, spacers, internal drive gear for 105VR, o-rings). No floods or leaks.

But what are you housing the 105VR in?

I've been trying to use the 'old' 105 lately and it's a shocker trying to AF on tiny critters!!!

BTW...anyone reading this thread should really understand how GOOD the D70/Nexus combo is...

I love mine to bits, and it is a great unit for anyone starting out with DSLR. . .

There are very few things that can't be done with this combination...

Using the 105VR with standard 60mm port (not the new "larger" version) & 60mm of ext ring (40+20). The port with 40mm ext ring (like for old 105) will not clear the VR gear sleeve, but adding an extra 20mm ring avoids this problem. Works fine. Note - sometimes the VR AF seems a bit too fast.
