Best of show in local contest

I just wanted to show you guys a picture that I recently entered in a local photo contest. It took Best of Show out of 88 entries and 1st place in a special category "Patterns in Nature". What do you think?

I entered it as an 8x10 and it looked great. I was wondering if anyone has tried to blow up any larger. the file size is 2048x1536.

I have blown up my 6 megapixel pix to 11 x 7.5 and I have just sent off two to go Pictopia at 16x20

W/ a coolpix, I'd stick to 11x14 or below.

As for prints I have taken my S2 (like James) to 48x24 and maintained an extremely high quality (certainly still display quality for the client which is why I had it done)

I have taken a Oly4040 image to 16x20 with no issues (hangs in an office in Chicago)
